I made my kirby green and named him Kirbo. All of my amiibos actually just have kinda dumber names like Lonk, Marty-O, etc.

they're making an add-on making the 3DS (regular one) able to read Amiiboobs. It does infrared like the Skylanders portals, but it's like 1/4 that size. Imagine the Amiiboobs' bases. add about two millimeters on each side. that's how big it is.
