I would say so. Your shading and lines are much smoother. You're also able to incorporate the creature into the background better.

Yeah you have improved! The outline is neater, the colors and shading match the atmosphere, the grass nicely overlaps the feet, and the background is beautiful and with color! Outstanding job! :D
