Saviour of the Waking World by Clonico
From the story: A small dimensional rift opens up and Nicole walks into it. It brings her to a forest where a Guardian Statue of Asterisk is. These statues were erected by the gods themselves in various remote locations. Each holds a artifact, something precious to them infused with their power. When removed it activates the statue which can only be done near end times. Anyhow the statue kinda sorta explodes with magical energy and the force of the explosion knocks Nicole back into the rift as well as forcing Celestite out of her body!! The rift doesn't take her bake home but rather to Earth's sister dimension, Eathilde (i keep changing its name). Earth got cut off from the other dimensions in the 200 year war, so Nicole is the first Earth-borne Awakener in thousands of years, and the first to visit any other dimensions.

and about the End Times!! There's this guy named Akesios, though most people know him as the devourer of worlds. Mother Ama died sealing him away, but it didn't work quite as was planned...Akesios was sealed away, but his powers still seep from Ama's crystal and will eventually destroy it. And then there's Goddess Allura, or The Forgotten, as she is refered to, if anyone ever talks about her. I'm still figuring her out. Something happened between her and Akesios. She's not really evil, just angry and bitter. She has every right to be. The other gods think so, too.
