XD Yeah, sometimes I think that to myself as well. I justify his OP bits with big downsides.

A blast like this would take him about a minute upwards to charge, which is pretty long on a battlefield, so he often uses his Overclock Mode to speed up his functions.
His eyes are indicating that he's in Overclock Mode --on at least X6 by the yellow showing-- which eats up tons of energy --the same amount as normal instead multiplied by what level of Overclock he's on (in this case at least X6)-- which means that after this single blast he'll have used up about a fourth to a third of his energy in one shot!

So yeah, he doesn't use his Nova Bomb or Overclock Mode lightly... usually.

Re: Well, There are many Chaos Lurkers but one in general has been watching Phyre from the rift ever since he was a baby. This C.L. could sense the darkness within Phyre(That was Night Phyre) and it wanted it. So as Phyre got older, the C.L. was watching his every move....waiting to consume him. But normally, C.L.'s cant possess things...but this one learned how and that's how it took over Phyre's body.(you'll learn more in the story xD).

Getting back to Normal is tough. C.L.'s harbor so much hatred and anger that a mere human.s mind gets crushed under the pressure. He does eventually go back to normal, but he is broken for sometime and is out of the scene for a long time. (Thus giving the villian of the story to wreak havoc xD)

Yes, wierd outbursts of it tho. (like his eyes glow and his powers spin out of control and he attacks anyone and anything.)

i used a ref. all i did was a quick background, outlined the shapes, filled them in with the shadow color and textured them with the brighter color. look up the color theory #tutorial
