I really like the fighting mechanic in Bravely Default because it allows for a lot more strategy than most games.

But chapter 5? Ick. No. Screw it. I'm not about to go do that. No. I quit.

im still on the prologue I didn't play much I just got to the part where Agnes explained she's the vessel for the wind stone thingy
personally I liked Fire Emblem's fighting mechanic you had to really stratagize for that :u

Ringabell. Oh, where to start with Ringabell. I don't understand him at all. And I've played far enough into the game to know about his lost memories. I just don't get his personality.

and why does the name ringabell ring a bell

In my game, I have Ringabel set up so that he's always overflowing with BP, but he's useless unless someone's about to d1e.

I made agnes a white mage
i did that only because she's the same level as tiz but she's super weak
Ringabell is... weird. i still have to read his journal thing

I have Tiz as a knight, and he has ridiculously high defense.
Agnes is an archer, and I need to give her a different job command.
Ringabel is a Red Mage
and I guess you haven't met the last person yet

There's a move that'll make the enemies more likely to attack the user so I have Tiz use it all the time

I've seen her but she hasn't joined the party yet. she's just gotten mad at the Black Mage dude

My first impressions of all the characters were really weird. Just going off of the openning cutscene I thought:
Agnes: Cult leader
Reality: Naive princess

Edea: War princess
Reality: child

Tiz: Sad because just lost everything
Reality: Not sad at all what the heck

Ringabel: Cocky amnesiac
Reality: Cocky amnesiac

lol yeah with tiz he watched his brother die and he's not even that fazed by it
and i didnt the ar cards with me in the beginning so I just set it in the arm of my couch and agnes began coming out of the floor and christmas tree and i was likw whOA WHATS GOIN ON

I have no idea what the AR scene was supposed to mean.
I set it up in the kitchen and it looked like Agnes was offended that my sister took the last chicken fries.

she was basically screaming save the vessel or something about that and everyone playing for the first time is just like wat. wat is happenin. why. why this happen screamin lady

Agnes is the screaming woman of the game. She likes to scream

not even past the prologue and that's pretty accurate

OH AND HER FAIRY FRIEND.
She only has like 5 lines of dialogue in the game and she's super annoying.
