Coda I by Munin

Long time, no uploads. My apologies, but big end of year blow out starts here with all that was missed, skipped, flipped, remixed etc... from the last 3 or so years - plus lots of new stuff from this year. Plenty of plein-air to post (naturally), along with a bunch of abstracts and all sorts of other bits & bobs. Best wishes for 2015! :)

Kicking things off with a set of scribbles exploring a specific idea...

Super, looking forward to the forthcoming postings, oh I meant to ask you a while ago, if my memory serves me well you were considering doing a self portrait, did you change your mind on this ? :)

Can't wait to see more stuff! This is quite different from your usual landscapes but I love it.

Thanks for the feedback on my most recent landscape drawings, much appreciated :)

Many thanks, folks.

@Gaz: Oh yeah, about that portrait... *sheepish* Well it was part of a group of paintings I did in January this year - when the snow piled on. My notebook says the 18th of January. No reason for me to discard that as I remember the day very well: Awesome snow covering (and still falling) and a trip to the local woods. Was meant to finish the sketches of that session and post as part of my 500th DS paint celebration, but real life got in the way. It will pop up very soon (my mug shot, that is), when I get around to those winter paintings... even if I'm still a little self conscious. It's part of the batch so it has to take it's place, I guess. :(

@M.Collins: Thanks, and you're welcome. It's nice to see you branch into landscapes and still retain your local colour palette. Very pleasing!
