Christmas in the Desert by Guppin

Silly Lefou, don't you see that the present belongs to Mr. Cactus over there? Kids these days man, so rude.

Here is my #passthepresent painting! I was tagged by @psychopath7, and this present shall go to @Rebecca S., @UnknownX, and @Tabycat64 (it might be a little sandy when you get it, hehe). I tried to give it to artists who haven't recieved one yet. Happy holidays!

Also, I have a little narrative to go along with this painting. I'll put it in the comments.

Lefou, our silly protagonist, is taking a wonderful stroll through the Seredt Desert when he comes across a strange cube wrapped in its own tail. "What is this, where has it come from?" the youth begins to ponder these questions. (But not really; Lefou is not much of a thinker.) Lefou goes through his checklist, essential to determining a new item's usefulness. Is it food? Lefou gives the cube a thorough sniff, wafting in the aroma of inedibility. He takes a little nibble of its outer skin to solidify his findings. No. Is it shiny? Lefou holds the cube up to the blazing desert sun, examining it with his six eyes for any reflections. That's a big negative. Having failed his checklist, Lefou passes his cube (present) to others who may find a use for it. (But not really; let's pretend he didn't discard the cube into the desert's sand.)
