I get depressed around Christmas time because my mother got me and my family in financial issues, and we never really get to do anything we want to but she does. Kind of ironic isn't it?
Tbh I don't like Christmas too. It's too overwhelming and people are usually depressed. My parents don't even feel happy about Christmas. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates Christmas. - n -)
i used to like christmas but now christmas is like parents struggling with money problems, its really overwhelming and just ughhh. ): i wouldnt say i hate christmas, i just dont like it and dont hate it. :/
I don't like Christmas much either :/ People mostly care about what they get and only ever want materialistic things. I don't like it, I always become stressed out during December.. so glad this month is almost over.
If we want to get technical, Christmas is a Pagan Holiday that kinda sorta got...hijacked and we sort of just renamed it, erased the (various) originators intent (winter solstice celebration, etc.) and ran with it by calling it the most iteration of god's b-day (don't know if you live in the US but this kind of thing is very common throughout American history as well as others). I'm not religious, obviously because I'm a deist (to sum my stance up, I believe in a God/Goddess, not in a conventional sense by any means, and especially not religion, though I consider "TRUE" spirtuality completely different than anything a monotheistic religion offers.

Same here. For me i think people worry more about materialistic things than the birth of christ and that's just up-setting.
