Merry Christmas everyone! This is a painting of Santa Claus bowing down to the REAL king of Christmas! Baby Jesus. I was inspired to paint this by a figurine I saw. Our culture is so materialistic. Slow down and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. The Christ of the Lord that came to bring true: peace, love, joy, and happiness. Come to Jesus today! He doesn't care about your race, social class(rich or poor), power(position in leadership), or etc. He loves you right where you are.

Thank you! I feel like media underemphasizes the history of Christmas. How come Easter is a holiday and they don't say "happy holidays" there, or St. Patricks(St.Patricks), Valentines day(for St.Valentino), or halloween(Reformation Day)or etc. How come the only time its "happy holidays" is when "Christ" is in Christmas? Santa Claus was a Christian monk that did a good thing for the virgin women who had no money to be married. They took his good act and warped a young monk into a fat jolly old man! It's like putting a Santa suit on one of Jesus' disciples- Peter, John, or etc. I bet Santa Claus(aka. St. Nickolas) is in heaven with Jesus right now glorifying his savior! The glory was not his, but GODS! I know Santa is a sweet childhood tale, but it all began in a manger in Bethlehem..
