only royalty has black gems (bcos mati blood is black), this means there are a lot of arranged groupings and sometimes inbreeding...

i forgot to say that if a nb isnt involved in a grouping, the offspring can have defects such as lacking gems and no shapeshifting abilities. as well as general health problems.

btw mati (matee) is singular, matii (mateye) is plural
