I'm scared. Scared of my own father. What he did to our furniture and nearly my brother is just unacceptable. He nearly hit him with a chair leg! All because he was furious at my brother for breaking Mom's favorite ornament w/o telling him. He destroyed our entire dining set. I heard the whole thing, my brother witnessed it. I sobbed for several minutes straight --

I later told Mossy and she comforted me as well. It was a really scary scene, and I was traumatized by just hearing everything and seeing our dining furniture in our backyard. I feel better now, but I haven't fully recovered.
I just now received a full explanation from my dad. He was furious, but no so furious that he would hurt anyone. I was just scared, and the chair leg thing was just a lie to make it dramatic. So I guess everything's okay.
I'm gonna try to relax and maybe sleep. Later, guys. ^^

I'm really sorry you had to go through this. As someone who lived with a terribly abusive father for a good majority of my life, I know exactly how it feels and wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I wish I could have done more to help you calm down at the time but on the other hand I'm just glad everything is a little less tumultuous.

*hugs* That mustve been a nightmare of an experience :( Sorry you had to go through that. When my parents were together my dad had his moments but all will get better through time. Some people may have different anger issues than others but hopefully this doesnt happen again. Another thing to do is tell him about how it scares you, I did the same with my dad and he promised to never ever snap again (and hes kept it) Just wanted to say I hope your ok and if you ever need to chat about things I'm a friend that's always here :)
