Narwhals are called "unicorns of the sea," but the 'horn' is actually a tusk, you know, a tooth, that protrudes from the top lip of mostly males. Sometimes there are two horns. Females usually don't grow the tusk(s), but when they do, they are generally much smaller... The tusk is most often grown from the upper left canine tooth.

In this pic, I tried a Narwhal-Lynx hybrid. Uuhhmm. I, you know, didn't feel cool about her growing a tooth out of the front of her face. But this is ew.
