The doors on those camaros don't have a bar for the window to slide into, which means the window is just resting on the roof. We can pry the window open a little and get at the lock with a hanger, or maybe fit me through the opening.

ok, that brown wire going to the keyhole? you need to rip that out, and scrape it on that round copper plate there, but the owner is probably home, since this car is outside instead of in a garage, meaning we have to leave AS SOON AS we start it, because this car is loud and they will hear.

so can you guess what those three pedals do?

okay... but i still dont know how to drive what do i do when i get it to go? -gets started on hotwireing it-

It won't start unless the left pedal is pushed in. the right pedal is gas, the middle pedal is break and the left pedal moves the gears away from the engine.

the engine is attached directly to the wheels if the left pedal is up, so it can't start moving when the wheels are stuck. you need to push the left pedal in to free the engine, then start it, then use the stick to your right to move first gear in front of the engine basically, then release the left pedal so the engine can grab first gear, and the tires.

But if you let it grab it all at once, it'll die because the tires still aren't moving. So you see those two gauges on the dash? the right one is the speed of the car, or the tires actually, and the left one is the speed of the engine.

With your left foot on the clutch (left pedal) and your right foot on the gas(right pedal) you need to gas the engine until the left gauge is around 20, then slowly release the left pedal so the tires get more and more of the engine's power, and you can speed up. make sense?

basically the right pedal gives the engine power, and the left pedal decides how much of that power goes to the tires, which put resistance on the engine.

so, hit the left pedal, turn the key, move the gear, gas until left gauge says 20, then slowly release left pedal and don't freak out when we start rolling:]

well you can't make it through security like him, but until you go through security you just look like a hard core cosplayer. Or a mutant.
