lonely orange ball by mcollins

I was kicking this orange ball as I strolled across the coast and I realised I could put it in my picture to complement the blue of the sea

I'm going to add more details to this

Nice, do you spend a lot of time by the sea?

Thanks guys :)

@Gaz: The seagulls were hard to draw, I had to draw them from memory.

@Buck_7: I don't live near the sea but my college is close to the coast so I have spent some time drawing the landscapes recently

That's even more impressive from memory, when I first seen this I thought the ball was an actual orange due to the little dark dot on the left hand side, keep your plein air painting going it's good stuff, I tried painting by the sea live on brean beach but I wasn't anywhere near quick enough, the clouds light and shadows were changing faster than I could paint . :)

@Gaz: Haha yeah, I hate it when the sky changes too rapidly. I just try to get all the shapes and colours down as soon as possible, but it can be quite stressful racing time

Haha... I'm a big fan of the washed up orange floats myself. Great!

@Munin: Yeah, I just thought it would liven up the drawing a bit. Thanks :)
