Once there was a man named Rodney, he would stand in the back of the church, never looking up & never talking to anyone. One day the priest started talking to the man, they exchanged names, the priest was Fr. John, the man was Rodney. Rodney always had paper and pencil with him but Fr. John didn't know why. One day Fr. John discovered under the alter cloth a bunch of notes that Rodney had written, some of them were beautiful & poetic some of them confusing, (cont. in comments) #wc221

After getting to know Rodney better Fr. John learned that he was an amazing piano player and was incredible good at math. One day Rodney told Fr. John his story, he said when he graduated highschool he started going to college. When he met a girl who he fell in love with, but the girl's parents said they couldn't get married though. After that Rodney became depressed, he started drinking and turned to dru/gs. He finally got back on track but now he had no college degree and no family.

He hadn't seen his family in 25 years and he didn't want to see them. After telling Fr. John his story Rodney disapeared, no one saw him for months but one day he came back and he had a huge gash on the side of his head. Fr. John wanted to take Rodney to a hospital but he refused, finally when he gave in they took him to the hospital and found out he had cancer. At that moment Rodney said he wanted to be baptised, so Fr John baptised him, and gave him his first holy communion. And three days later Rodney died, months after Rodney had been buried a lasy came to the church, the lady was Rodney's sister. The lady thanked Fr. John for everything they did for Rodney and asked if he had left anything behind. So quickly Fr. John got the notes Rodney had wrote and gave them to Rodney's sister. This is a true story told to me by Fr. John himself, Fr. John is the priest for St. Peter's Catholic Church in the city of Richmond, VA.
