Did you know that if we spot a particle far far away from us in outer space with a telescope, we only see what the particle looked like a million (or something like that) years ago, because that is the amount of time it takes for the light to travel to the particle and back to our eyes. Amazing..

This is a good practice and I'd like to see you continue with it building up the clouds with some more highlights, some more stars of varying sizes brightness es and colour would look good, (remember stars are not all white and only the brightest will shine through the nebula), to make some of the stars sparkle I add a layer go to my solid brush bring the size down and colour on full, dot in the star so it's bright then switch to the mist brush, I then draw a cross through the star extending outwards, you can then skim the edges of the cross with the eraser to taper the cross tips to a point without affecting the background, I then put a haze around the star as you have done and re brighten the star center, hope this is of some help :)
