Thx, yeah it has to be played to view it unfortunately, so much detail is lost, it doesn't come alive until it's run through the replay, so not all will see it in its true form.
Hi fridagrr, thank you much appreciated, my earlier paintings on I phone were painted using my fingers, my android paintings are all painted on my galaxy note phone using the pressure sensitive pen that comes with it :)
Thx, to be honest I didn't find it as difficult as painting normal clouds where as you would assume it would be more challenging doing nebulae, I intend to do more of these as like yourself I love all things space, universe ,ect :)
Hi buck 7 and thx, yeah I use a galaxy note 2 , it's a great device to paint on, the pen is brilliant, I shall be upgrading to the 4 soon as my contract nearly finished :)
Thank you for your advices! i have always loved space, especially nebula and northen lights because of the beautiful and mystical colors. And i love to know that it is something out there, bigger than us, hope. When i saw your painting i just had to try to paint something like it, you really did an Amazing job!
You are insane, sir. This is insane, sir. A Christmas toast to the insane, sir! You've certainly captured the magisterial beauty.
Given the clock time for this, and all the dots involved, I wonder if you can remember what the time REALLY was (roughly)? I ask because my recorded times seem to be all over the place, and I think it's to do with rapid dashes and marks made (maybe 2-3 per second) during certain paintings. I must ask Jens how the general time is calibrated.
Lol thx munin, yeah I think right hehe, hope you had a good xmas:) I honestly haven't got a clue how long it took me to paint it, nowhere near 18:00 though, to the completion of the background stars previous save, maybe about 3 hours over a couple of days at a rough guess, the nebulae if I take out all the trials and various branching experiments was pretty fast for me, maybe a couple of hours, it's only the experimenting that beefs up my time, as I've stated before I have never took note on my time, I should do though as it's important and something I should give attention to , yes it would be interesting to hear how the times are recorded on colors :)
@Gaz: Ahh... well it was worth asking. I know these things are somewhat odd, but I know the time has nothing to do with anything else but brush marks. It's the length of time each stroke or dot registers at that has me wondering. But that's just me. O_O
Thx cheechoo, I own a 3ds so I really should give it another go, I tried painting on it when I first got it but found it very alien to use as I was so used to painting on I phone, ill have another play around with it I think, see what develops :)

fantastic work! it's a shame that some of the detail is lost until you view the replay

A question, do you work with a pen (some sort of touch-pen) or just with your finger?
