Are you confusing depression with the typical bad days everyone has? Let me explain the difference.

Bad days: Things aren't going your way. You're upset. This phase passes rather quickly

Depression: Doesn't go away easily. Deeper than ordinary bad days. Bad days could cause depression. Those who want to die don't want to for vain reasons. Life really has gotten to be too much

And maybe it's just your interpretation that society is unhappy. Someone else might say that people still seem happy. It depends on who you talk to. Or do you say that because you yourself aren't very happy?

What happiness means to one person could mean something totally different to another. One last thought: if you don't like that I'm trying to let sad people have someone to vent to, then maybe you should just ignore End Depression

Everyone around me is always sad and depressed and stuff and I try to make them happy and they just get sadder and I start to get sad too
