Well, it's been a few days since my last entry. I'm so sorry for not writing, but ever since I accepted Crowley's offer of becoming his assistant I've been almost too busy to do anything else. Keeping a diary has been the //last// thing on my mind lately.
Um, I suppose I'd better explain exactly what's been going on.
After my last entry, Crowley returned to the cave and began to speak. He looked so //different// from the first time I'd seen him. There was a terrible anger in his voice that chilled me to the bone. He seemed to be barely controlling himself. But anyhow, I remember what he said to me...
'Cherry,' he hissed, pronouncing my name as if it were made of poison. 'I have a mission for you.' And he beckoned me closer and told me the details of his plan, quickly and quietly.
Since that day, my life has been nothing other than an endless hell. Crowley really //is// the dangerous monster the townsfolk warned me about - and I have reason to believe he's insane as well.
My first mission sounded simple when he explained it to me. There was an old human living in a cottage at the edge of Blackheart Woods. He was pretty much deaf, I think, and didn't seem to notice me when I sneaked up on him, which I guess was a good thing.
Anyway, my job was to distract the man so Crowley could attack him from the other side. I didn't know why it was so important for him to die - I foolishly assumed he'd done something horrible in the past and Crowley was only seeking revenge. So, unaware of the consequences, I began to carry out my task without complaint.
The second the human's gaze turned upon me, I heard an explosion of sound in the trees and Crowley launched himself out, straight for the old man's head. Urgh, I don't even want to write it down here, but it was awful. There was blood everwhere. And Crowley was so fast it was unbelievable. I think he must have magical powers.
Anyway, that's the kind of thing I've been doing these last couple of days. Helping my employer kill people. Not just humans either - sometimes he targets other dragons. No matter who they are, he always kills them easily. With my help.
...I don't know if I can keep doing this. I'm not a violent person; I never have been. It feels so //wrong,// helping Crowley destroy so many people, for no good reason.
If only I wasn't so drawn to him, so oddly fascinated by him.
Thats horrible! K.illing for love... a twisted romance!!! I wonder If she will eventually unearth the good lying within crowleys heart!!! Oh the suspense!!
