Chiyagi are underground goat-like creatures that live in large colonies. They have a sort of tier system, measured by the amount of rings on their necks. (Out of a maximum 6)
Rings are added or removed based on one's signifigance to the colony. Jaana works as a supervisor to the large generator that powers the city. As such, she has been able to utilize the energy being produced into her own body, giving her the ability to generate electricity too.
Chiyagi have no eyes due to living without light, but have super sensitive ears and get around from memorization. They also have the ability to absorb energy based on their environment. With Jaana, electricity. But someone else could have fire powers if they live near a magma cavern, for example.
Chiyagi eat rocks and have a strong jaw to do so. The rocks they eat then become part of their skin, thus giving them great durability and strength.
