A pas.sword is intended to be a secret so that Colors or the internet site knows it's you and not someone else. If you give out your pas.sword, it can then be used against you. Imagine you're at school and someone says they want your locker combination so that they can put a note in your locker. Even if they are telling the truth, you should still not give them the combination. If they write down the combination, someone else could find it and you'll find your belongings gone and when you go to the princ.ipal, they can do nothing because you vio.lated the terms of using your locker by giving the combination out. Now realize that online it's much harder to tell if someone is sincere, so it's even more reason to not give out your account info. I'm not saying to never trust anyone, just to keep certain information secret for safety, like where you live.

The user tells people they need to give him their pas.sword for fan art, but it doesn't work that way, so everyone should be aware of that. Now, as for him bullying you and others directly, I'd recommend to either ignore or block the user's comments. If you get into any sort of back and forth or into an argument, it will only drag things out. As for rumors, everyone should play Animal Crossing. One of the key lessons it keeps repeating is how easily rumors get out of control. If you hear a rumor, it doesn't make it true. Always check things out for yourself. There's a lot of misinformation out there.
