Rekka was originally a student for a martial arts class that was high up in the mountains of Japan. One day, she found a mask half-buried in the snow of an abandoned village. Out of curiosity, she put it on, only to find that the mask is actually a dangerous spirit in a physical form. The scarf Rekka wears was enchanted to prevent the spirit from fully posessing her. But if it burns entirely (Because of the spirit's power), Rekka turns into a giant destructive fire demon and can raze cities. The more the scarf burns, the more unstable she gets.
Well, that probably made no sense.
However, the mask does give her some pretty cool pyrokinetic powers.
She communicates through sign language and is pretty good with her martial arts skills.
