Thought I'd draw something from my videogame idea.
The idea just came to mind when I was thinking about all those different fighting game systems and features that makes them unique. Thought I'd try to make one myself (well, two actually) and apply them to a beat 'em up RPG.
Will comment later about the two systems.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Rage (top gague): This gauge is given to fighters that prefer offensive methods of fighting. The gauge starts at 0, and can be built through various actions. Having some gague is required to perform special moves. When full, the fighter enters X-RAGE, a temporary state that increases attack speed and power. The fighter can also perform a powerful X-RAGE attack in this state at the cost of the state itself and the remaining Rage gauge.

Spirit (bottom gauge):
The primary gauge starts at maximum. Its required to perform special moves. The crescent on the left is the HIGH SPIRIT gauge. It increases through successful offensive and defensive maneuvers, but decreases if taking hits or hitting a blocking enemy. If full, the fighter enters a HIGH SPIRIT state, increasing speed and defense, and allows execution of a HIGH SPIRIT attack.
