Anywho, introducing my sort-of-/technically/-alien Vin, who should /technically/ be genderless, except that I'm running rather low on female characters.
So. She is an unknown species of... something. She's actually composed entirely of light particles that she can condense and uncondense at will - meaning she could move around as merely a glowing white cloud. These... [c]

...light particles are circulated through her body and energized by an energy core that's located in her abdomen (pictured above).
She can also do cool stuff like make one or two light particles orbit her fingers or her head or something for a light source.
Back on the subject of the energy core, it needs constant charging - so she needs to constantly find something to fuel it with, or she'll more or less scatter into a bunch of seperate particles and be no more.
Usually a viable energy source for her will be something containing either light particles or high voltage - so she's normally solar-powered or electrically charged.
That aside, no one really knows exactly what she is, except that she's from some faraway place in deep space, and that she's aparently a vagabond from some vast civilization that she appears to be fleeing from.
Personality-wise, she's mostly lacking in emotion, and extremely calm and collected.
On a last note, her voice sounds like a collection of computerized...
