Nice big impressive compositions you do. Reminds me of Henry Moore sculptures. Those details add nice scale. Good stuff!
O.K. I have a request as a trade back for the Rococo.
You can either do me a nice Trade Center painting, but I want it in it's beautiful shinning glory full of life, or a painting of Haystack rock on the Oregon coast at sunset.
How does that sound?
@Arrjay: Haha. You are certainly playing on my preference here aren't you (assuming Haystack Rock IS what it sounds like). By Trade Center, I would assume you mean the World Trade Center? Or are we talking concepts here as designs for a new structure? I'm inclined to go with Trade Center - whatever the proposal - as the latter seems a little too much in my comfort zone (I'll google all the same as you perked my interest).
@Munin: You make this look waay too easy. I haven't seen the playback yet but, I'm sure it's good. Have you seen this painting by aron? http://colors.collectingsmiles.com/details/1583-_by_aron.php Let me know what you think. I'll try to post something this weekend.
heh, maybe if the london tube went past more rugged coastline, i'd paint like you? ;) great sketch, doubly impressive that you've got so much coastline and landscape in your memory banks that you can now just make something like this up. fantastic.
@ Hideyoshi: Damn it. When I saw your name I assumed you had posted new speedies. You sure like to tease. :( @Sea: Yeah, that's the whole point of doing studies... trying to commit a little to memory wih each paint. :) @Inque: Are you kidding? That is one of the paintings that had me sold on the idea of buying a DS in the first place. :D
