Born in the Summer of 890, Hafuna was orphaned in the slums of Kotoko and kept watch by the ratfolk she learned to call family. She stole from merchants to eat, and in one winter discovered her control over ash and smoke. At fifteen, Hafuna left to the mage academy in Windrix and became the youngest and most advanced Ash Arch-Mage on Eden. The smoke dripping from her mouth is normal.
