my head canon for oliver is that he uses the po.ison cupcakes only when he feels that the people he cares about are in danger.... his "special" cupcakes aren't those.... they are 2 different kinds: one he makes specially for al, who's vegan and the other has a real fruit filling, which are matt's favorite.... it was matt that spread the rumor that both special cupcakes were po.isonous or had bits of human in them...
