I have a little story that goes with this painting.
This lone swashbuckler made completing his fathers work (the metal ship) his priority. When the ship went under way for its first voyage, there was a big explosion causing the sip to sink. Everyone abandon ship except for one, The creator of the ship himself. Now he finds himself repairing the ship, with aid of an external mysterious force, in an air dome to stay alive.
