It's okay if you're not in USA. My mom has a rule (which I agree with) where the earliest we can put up our tree is the day after Thanksgiving. Immediately after Halloween everyone's all "Christmas time! It's already December!"
No, it isn't. If you don't hype (really hate that word) Thanksgiving, I don't think you deserve to celebrate it.

i hate how there is christmas commercials already i get sooo mad! hello everyone? is thanksgiving just a holiday no one cares about? its about being thankful! i havent seen 1 commercial about thanksgiving! it feels like they just care about presents...

Yeah, totally. I don't think there are Thanksgiving commercials because they can't make money off of it. But if you're not a business, there's no excuse.
