Discovery Has Jumped The Shark! by Larka

I kid you not, Discovery Channel is doing a show where they'll show a man being devoured alive on live TV by a giant snake! WHAT THE HECK! Sure the dude is going to wear a special suit, but still! That's just sick, what next are they going to show on TV now days?! Of course all the reptile fans, YOLO people, Twitter, and all those weird people on Colors who draw people getting eaten will absolutely love it.

Television is a magical thing.

(Continued): To be honest this is all a major ratings ploy by Discovery, just like the infamous mermaids and megladon documentaries. They might as well have a bunch of A-list celebrity hosts sponsoring the event and cheerfully telling the audience that Discovery will do anything for their attention. I do admit it would be funny to see Samiel L Jackson host the show as he turns to the camera and spouts out his famous line regarding snakes. Anyways this just proves that TV networks are desperite for the attention of the public, whatever is most shocking or controversal.

Television programmes seem to go to the most extreme of lengths to please the public.
It's really quite amusing, what these petty humans do to draw attention to themselves.
