I don't recognize his ranks. (I have to study rank insignias in my NJROTC class.) Are they also made up, or are the Russian military ranks (if there is a Russian military) or are they made up? And if they're real what branch of the military are they from? :0

@Squally: They're from the Soviet Union's military. A quick Google search for 'Stanislav Petrov' will turn up a photo of him in the same exact uniform looking out the window. (first result, actually)
