The background deer centaur is wondering why the foreground centaur is in the middle of nowhere and naked. She was banished, and in the ritual, her hair is torn out, clothes torn off, and she is forced from the colony by whips, spears, and thrown rocks. If there is a villager who does not take part, they are jailed for a month and then banished in the same fashion. The deer is too young to understand.
