Harrier by Anne Chovy
Indiana's bird would have to be a Harrier. They are also my favorite bird of prey. They have a lot of unique adaptation. Yet they have a straight forward hunting style, flying over fields.
I think that suits Indiana. He often prefers a straight forward approach.(or no approach at all...he'd rather be at home.) Yet he has clever ideas and is crafty.
Also, I know there are a variety of Harriers, I using the variety in Wisconsin.
