Swapnote may be long gone (*cries*), but Andrea Faulds has created PictoSwap, a way to draw and send notes to your friends on other 3DS systems. Open your 3DS's internet browser and go to pictoswap.ajf.me. Because you need to hold down the stylus for a moment each time you draw a line, it takes patience and it's not perfect, but it still offers a way to send private messages just to your friends and looks a lot like the classic #Swapnote. Thanks to @Telepath for discovering and sharing this. :3

Answers to common questions about PictoSwap:
- Nintendo has no plans to bring back SpotPass for SwapNote or to add PictoSwap to the eShop. :'(
- Sometimes if you re-open the internet browser, the submit information won't work, so bookmark the site so you can reload it whenever you need to.
- To add a user, click the person on the bottom right and then scroll down and you'll see a spot to type a username and click the person with the plus sign.
- The creator is constantly coming up with ways to improve it, so expect more changes.
