dont be afraid, be yourself
come out to someone you trust like a parent or close friend...if they dont know what a furry is, gently explain it! tell them why you like it and the good things about it, like the fact that most furries are sweet and accepting and being a furry can help make friends
i myself am a furry and was afraid to show it. my friends knew but i had a hard time telling my mom. i eventually just pulled up a website explaining it and gave her the link, then told her i was a furry
