i see so much fanart of #ness that shows him as being practically emaciated but thats far from correct
in #earthbound (idk about #mother2 though) there are npcs that remark about ness being visibly overweight and thats so important because there are like zero badass fat protagonists in mainstream games and ness is the protag we need (hell tony is canon gay and thats really good for a game from the early 90s you know)
please draw ness with more weight on him than hes often depicted with thanks

(Not trying to be rude with any of this) But he's not fat in Smash Bros. That's probably just NPCs being mean, I think the sprites can show if someone is skinny or fat. Lier X. Agerate is really skinny, Apple Kid isn't. But I do agree with you that there should be more fat protagonists.

like insulting someones weight is uncalled for under all circumstances but its brought up generally when someones visibly overweight and im speaking from experience here so yknow
