I'm a brony but I do agree. Ponies are overused and in every thing has been done with them (wich I think is kinda creepy) But the fact that they are annoyingly cute and unrealistic but that is the reason that the fans love the ponies. Yes they do get in the way of A LOT of things. But even if you are a hater of the show. It's alright everyone has diffrent opinions and thats what makes us unike.

SImple solution: Make a wildly popular and entertaining cartoon called My Little Okapi. Then that'll be annoyingly cute, over used, take over the internet, get in the way of better things, and what not. I wonder what we'll call the fans of My Little Okapi? Bronies is already taken. You decide? :0

No-no! :P It was simply a joke. A play on 'anti-fan' responses toward popular things nowadays. I notice these sort of things all the time so I wanted to make a joke, not offend. Sorry if it came off that way. But I wont' say there isn't a hint of truth behind what I said though... ;) Anything that reaches the popularity of MLP or higher is bound to get these sort of "It's everywhere! I know, I'll make a public response-response" against it sort of approach if you know what I mean.

Mildly cute? Lies, Okapi's are adorable. Im a Brony (sowwy...), but I'm not obnoxious about it. I draw ponies, watch the show, and have a couple OCs. I'm quite open-minded about new things, so I think Okapis may be a cool new thing to start :]

Okapis are awesome! I love horses, but I'm not into MLP (not since I was little), and I agree, they are definately everywhere.
