off the field so the /band/ doesn't get points off their score. Don't get me wrong, I was incredibly happy when we made Division 1. And they said we did well. I'm always complaining about X Squad, and how annoying it is to repeat the sets to practice because we're usually just standing there. It was cool to see the band perform from an audience perspective, but it would be nice to be a part of it. Father, what you said about me being in X Squad was incredibly harsh and uncalled for. "Not good enough to be in the big block?" My playing is just alright, and I try my best at marching. I'm only a Freshman, and I've only known how to march for a few months! Give me a break!!

I know you have high standards, but you need to tone it down, please. I know I'm a lower chair, but that's only because it's for the band all together! I was first chair Symphonic band last year and every test I stayed where I was. No one got in front of me (Honor doesn't count here). I know you now act like nothing--

happened and it was forgiven, but I've had about enough with the "insults". Don't tick off the quiet ones. You don't know how long it'll be until they snap.

Thing is, everyone, I've had a rough day and I've had a headache and drowsiness the whole day, so don't criticize me or my dad for the choices we've made. Don't pity me, either. I think there's enough drama on my hands. And not enough sanity for me to handle it.
