Well, for one you can take a picture of a drawing yoy had done on paper, and just trace it. That's a huge helper. It wont be copying because it's your drawing your tracing. ^^

When I first started drawing on the 3ds, I wasn't quite used to it either. <:D But I started to draw on my 3ds more and more and as I got more experience I got used to it. I'm sure you just need to get used to it and then you will hardly notice how weird it is to draw on a 3ds. >wo I hope this helped. I just used my experience to teach you but I have no idea if this will help. <XD
