Considering Hoopa's dex entry stating that when it releases its true power, Hoopa can move even islands using hyperspace portals. Hoopa plays a big part in the mirage clouds and legendary battles in OR/AS, considering the portals in which you encounter them look identical to Hoopa's rings and even its silouette can be seen in this month's CoroCoro promotional scans. So most likely this is an alternate form of Hoopa, considering that it can apparently unleash this power on its own without a Mega Stone. I just don't like that it trades the Ghost typing for Dark. X-Scissor will destroy this thing.

It's both a little cool and odd. A sprite of mega hoopa though? Do they do that....oh.....ok yeah I remember.
