Thickfur was originally called Cotton by his owners. One night when he was 7 moons old, he was sitting on his fence in a large city. He wanted to explore the city, so he went exploring. He wandered through the city, and eventually got tired. He didn't remember the way home, so he took shelter under a bush beside a house. That morning, a calico cat was sitting outside the bush. Lost, Cotton asked for help. The calico had weird scars on his ears, but said he knew the way to Cotton's house. They wandered around for a long time, until midday, but made their way to the edge of the city. cotton walked out into a birch forest, mesmerized. The calico yowled and three rogues hopped out and knocked Cotton out. He woke with scars all over, and four strong cats and one small grey she cat with black paws and Emerald eyes. That's how he got to Ashflame (then Ashpaw's ) clan.
