Ridiculously over the redraw limit again (sorry). Started from life, but took a picture when the sun started setting (right about where the redraw stops). Didn't so much finish as get bored of it.

I agree with Madwurmz. The dark moody background really adds depth and sets off those yellows perfectly. Super solid. :)

im so totally loving this drawing. i never liked these flowers but you made them look so.... erm.. much more likeable :)it is so much more than realistic. a photo wouldnt be able to show this much.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm very glad every one thinks it still looks photo-real: the photo I took was with a really old cell phone camera and...well, let's just say I had to take a lot of license. For instance, the green is hilariously oversaturated compared to the original, since I started drawing this outside on a sunny day, which washes out the colors on the screen a bit. Anyways, thanks everyone!

I'm currently working on a picture and it's taking me ages, how do you carry on without giving up? Most of my pictures take me 20 minutes maximum, but this ones taken 2 and a half hours and I'm not even half way there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
