Shad-X was created by Zexon as an anti-Shadnix but left because of the lack of stuff to do, and later got his head crushed in Hong Kong by Vaiden and Calixto. His parts ended up on the Chinese black market and were eventually bought by V the Hedgehog, he was rebuilt (and given a cooler appearence) and now works for him. He doesn't need a reason, he just likes to blow stuff up and shoot people, 'cause that's how he was programmed. And he finds it fun.
