Now I know why Leyendecker painted so many babies. They are a blast to paint! Those big plump, juicy shapes.I was laughing the whole time.

Thanks, I used the Gouache brush setting to keep the dry brush look.

This reminds me of my daughter, Yuki, when she was a baby: I sooooo wanted to smack her (not in a nasty way) as her skin was so 'plump' like Leyendecker's work. I found a go-between by blowing raspberry 'farts' on her belly. She used to giggle at those. :) Now she has grasped the concept of materialism and it's all down hill from here! ;) Anyway, personal recollections aside, I love this painting... makes me want to pinch and bite (playfully) all over again.
