Man do i know that feeling. My mother is a strict christian woman and old fashion to boot. But its gotten better, we dont talk about it we dont fight. its on a need to know, as in i wont ever tell her anything. Hope thing go well for you and rad earing btw
My mom does the same thing but she is worse than that she says that she'd rather ki.ll herself then haveing a lesb.ian as a daughter ....................... IM FU.CKING BISE.XUAL AND IM FINDING A LOT OF GIRLS IN MY SCHOOL VERY ATTRACTIVE ......... welp never telling my mom this (0^0)
MAKE IT SHARKTOOF MAKE THE JOKE I'm in the same boat 8-bit. I keep questioning myself, since my parents put me in this mindset that my friends are influencing all that I do (they aren't) so now I can't tell if I'm really bi/pan-romantic (no idea) or if I'm just telling myself I am. I'm almost positive, but I'm in a sort of denial. But my parents always make terribly rude remarks, and they yell at me if I defend the LGBTAQ community. My mother yells at me to respect her religion (I'm agnostic leaning towards atheism) but she'll turn around and insult my friends and all I believe in. I'm surrounded by people constantly telling me to stop "giving myself labels" when all I'm doing is identifying.
Shizuka, that's terrible, and I'm truly sorry. You just be you sweety. I understand where you're coming from to an extent, and it really sucks. Like /really./ But no matter what your mom says, that's who you are, and it's great. <3
That's awful. How does a person's se.xuality effect who they are as a person. It doesn't change anything. They're still themselves, no matter who they're attracted to. It's just ridiculous. I'm so sorry hun. <3
That's terrible! I'm sorry you have to deal with that</3 people seem to be way too judgemental these days, but I totally agree that a persons se.xuality should not be a label that affects how you should treat them, or how you think of them. But know that you have the right to do what you want and that your parents out of all people should accept you for who you are. No matter what you think, what you are or what you do could never change the fact that you are a wonderful human<3 if you're bi or pan or even just straight it will not make you any less special than anyone else. AND NICE EARRINGS OMG
ye i know that feel it can be really hard being myself, a le:sbian, when my folks are constantly making fun of gays, throwing around gross hom:ophobic remarks, and even scolding me for defending the lbgta community. they have no idea im gay, and with every ugly remark i feel less and less willing to come out to them. but im happy that people like you understand how i feel! i feel so welcome here-- it's a very positive environment. bless your hearts. all of them.
Wow that's terrible... But, to those who are maybe terrified about what God might think of you, I just say this: God loves you, regardless who you love, and you know why? Because you're LOVING someone, and that's what God wants for his children (at least this is what my aunt, who's a nun says, I don't really believe in God :P) Those people who cover their h*omophobic remarks behind religion are just really closed minded. And superficial.
