Awh, parents can be bu'tt munches sometimes...They should try to understand that it's actually better you went with a friend instead of staying there alone. At night.
Really, you didn't know how long you would've waited there, I feel you made the right decision. I understand how frustrating that can be when you make the best decision according to what you know. -hugs- Maybe you can mention that getting a phone would help prevent misunderstandings like this in the future?
