Flower Petal: once part of something beautiful, loved, alive, complete, but is now seperated, dead, incomplete.
Red, the color of blood, and also love but most importantly the color of anger, as a flower it used to balance red and green but now all that's left is red. Hatred, anger and pain.
Water: it is blue, a very cold color showing no mercy as you sink into the depths the darkness consumes you.
Green Sky: green calms people, a peaceful color, and is where the petal came from

I feel like that... but you could also focus on this: a petal, beautiful alone however even more-so with others; soft red, a color and texture of love, landing to float along the river, always ending up on top of the blue sadness that threatens to devour it. Green; a color of generic, similar things that hold no surprises or adventure; where the petal came from.
