See, the drawing looks better now with a body. If you're still not so sure about it, then just use reference(s) to draw the body. He reminds me a bit of Sasori...
Sigh, you have to try it someday, cause if you don't, you'll NEVER be able to draw them. Sasori was the one I liked the least of them all (because he got beaten by Sakura and his grandma!) They do have a tough history...
Ahh so that's how it is. I used to watch Naruto, but now I only read it (the story gets really weird after a while). I wonder how much you'll improve until lets say 2015.
You need to improve a lot or I'll never talk to you again... Of course I'm kidding! XD As long as you improve (doesn't matter how much) it'll be great. You'll always improve as long as you don't stop drawing, so it won't be that hard :)
Wow really? A grid everytime!? What a bad school. You don't need grids to make art. If you want to get better at drawing bodies, then start with tracing some bodies (both genders). I know people hate tracing, but it does help you understand the object a bit more. After that you should try drawing it without tracing it (while looking at a ref) and then you never need to hide the bodies :)
