Okay so as someone who has an anxiety disorder I have Anxiety attacks sometimes, and I often come across people who have NO IDEA what to do when someone has an anxiety attack.
So, Imma teach you guys what to do.
First of all, what is an anxiety attack attack?
Anxiety Attacks happen when a person in an anxious/stressful enviroment or scenario, such as being in a loud and crowded place, being yelled at, finding out a friend or family member is sick or dead, etc. etc.

Symptoms/warning signs of an anxiety attack include; hyperventilating, going pale, fidgeting in the hands or arms, feeling paralized, feeling like you can't talk, feeling a need to escape, shaking or being jumpy, feeling like you've shrunk, anger, feeling like everybody is right up against you, sometimes itching may occur, getting hives/red bloches on skin, and things like that.
What to do when someone has an anxiety attack; Take them immediately out of the situation, go to a quiet, empty room (usually the bathroom is a good place), remind the person to breathe, slowly and steadily, whatever you do DO NOT leave the person alone, stay close by at all times (that doesn't mean be right up against them; give the some space) DO NOT tell the person that they have no reason to be anxious (that just makes you a d.ckhead), try to remain calm and positive, but mostly calm

When the person starts breathing normally again ask them (if you are in a public situation) if they are okay to go back out or if they would like to go home, if they say go home, you take them home, I don't care if your friends will think you're boring or a loser, you take that person home. If the person is already home ask them if they are good or if they would like take a nap (sleeping always helps me) if they wish to sleep for a bit then go get them a small glass of water, make sure they drink a little bit then leave the room so they can go to sleep. Now I know what you're thinking "But, Kenna, didn't you say that we couldn't leave the person alone?" Yes, I did, but if the person's breathing has gone back to normal and if they seem less wide eyed and shaky then it should be fine to leave the room.
