As far as I can tell the 3D is usually pretty acurate but some people have noticed on here that some pictures end up kind of jagged or pixelated around the edges especially when red is involved. If you check out a red motorcycle I drew you can see this jaggedness. My problem with the * d is that typically you have to turn it down from full * d to get things smoother or else you get some ghosting. That especially happens when you have a line duplicated across layers. I find it really impressive when T-bits and other artists can do * d really smooth and the * d is still turned up all the way. Most of the time my * d setting is about halfway when I upload.
↑ The red jagged pixels are the result of contrast, data transfer and display. Basically every screen has two R per GB (Red Green Blue) When paintings are uploaded, the server doesn't count this contrast ratio accurately. However, the playback is based off a complex recording of stroke action. Watching the playback is a good way to temporarily reset the contrast ratio.
